I've been a huge fan of the work of fellow Brooklyn family photographer Raquel Frechette long before we met and became fast friends—so needless to say, capturing her darling family in Cobble Hill was a task that I was not about to take lightly! For our session, we decided on a backdrop that reflected their regular routine and favorite neighborhood spots, and I have to say, the resulting shoot was one of the most laid-back and enjoyable I've ever had. Most of my time spent with them was really just witnessing this crew in their element as a family of four—and as you can hopefully tell from these images, there was no shortage of love, joy, and personality that poured from every interaction. This session is near and dear to me for so many reasons, one of the most important being the fact that I had the opportunity to share my vision and craft with an incredibly gifted artist and friend whom I admire and respect.
