Nassau County Museum of Art Family Session | Brooklyn and Long Island Family photographer

While I always love photographing families in the comfort of Brooklyn or Manhattan, there is something to be said for venturing outside of my norm and finding a new gem of a location to challenge and push me. This particular family session at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Long Island did just that—and you can probably tell from the large number of images in this post that I was elated with the results. These four were the perfect combination of laid-back, up for anything, and ready for adventure—and their playfulness and carefree style is what struck me first (and exactly what I wanted to try to capture in their session). This session has my hear for a number of reasons, the most important of which is the fact that this incredible crew trusted me to capture their love and connection on unfamiliar grounds, and it's families like this one that make me so grateful for what I do.
