What do you get when you combine the crème de la crème of kid-centric shop owners and small businesses with live music, family-friendly activities, and scrumptious treats galore—all created and executed by the beauty, brains, and brilliance that is Babyccino Kids and Pop Productions? Your knee-jerk response might be "utopia"—and you're darn close if you guessed that. The answer is New York's first (of many, I hope) ShopUp events, and needless to say it was a raging success. Two solid days of happy shoppers, frolicking little ones, and sheer joy burst through the walls of 501 Union, and I had the great honor of capturing the fun (and meeting countless inspiring parents, caregivers, and entrepreneurs that made the whole occasion so utterly fabulous). As I post these images (and unpack my shopping bags of goodies and gifts!), I'm already anxiously awaiting next year's showcase—it was without a doubt one of Brooklyn's finest!
