home sweet home | a peek into our new life in cali

It was one of those days where I set aside my to-do list, headed to Blick art supply store, tackled a little DIY project, decided to photograph said DIY project, then got so carried away photographing everything I ended up with a mini home tour. So there you have it—a few images of our new home in Los Angeles. It's always a work in progress in my eyes, but this place finally feels like us, and we couldn't be more content.

Sources: living room print is from Eventide Collective; pillows are from maewoven on Etsy; couch, dining room table, Cami's bookshelf, kids' kitchen, baby doll bed and craft table are all from IKEA (but craft table was hand-painted bright pink by moi); dining room wishbone chairs are from Poly+Bark; Cami's pink chair is from Serena and Lily but we found it on Craiglist and re-covered it; bedroom prints are both Max Wanger Printshop; white linen bedding is West Elm; throw on bed is by Caroline Z. Hurley from General Store; little wooden stool is Kalon Studios, Cami's rug is from Garnet Hill; painting with bottles is by me in college; wooden deer and robot are both from Monroe Workshop; wooden rainbow is from General Store; and outdoor mat is from West Elm. Yay!
